The ECG Academy Certificate Courses Level 1 and Level 2 are approved for CE credit by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as an enduring online program. The combined Level 1 and Level 2 program is approved for 20 contact hours of continuing education. The program was planned in accordance with AANP CE Standards and Policies and AANP Commercial Support Standard.
HOW DOES THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM WORK?
By incorporating ECG Academy's unique video tutorials into an educational framework, we are now able to track each participant's progress. The Sections in the Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) and Level 2 (12-lead Interpretation) courses each have 3-5 videos, each 5-15 minutes long, each covering a particular topic. At the end of each section there is a short quiz to reinforce the information and to measure your proficiency. At the end of each Level of the course there is a final exam. Completion of the entire program qualifies the participant to receive a "Certificate of Completion," with CE contact hours as noted above. You'll also receive a free subscription to ECG Academy's ChalkTalks, which are invaluable to help you tackle more difficult tracings. To purchase the course, click Subscribe Now at right and choose one of the Certificate Courses (Level 1 or Level 1+2).
"I find your course to be extremely helpful and should be offered at NP schools across the nation."
"I love the videos and the fact that I can review the basics over and over, which is how I learn best."
A Testimonial From An NP Educator:
"ECG Academy will revolutionize traditional NP programs with their innovative online teaching techniques and support for students. Traditionally, interpretation of EKG's is overwhelming and not effectively instructed in the classroom due to time constraints. ECG Academy allows the students to work at their own pace, has shorter modules conducive to learning and allows professors access to monitor student's progress. ECG Academy should be a requirement for all NP and PA programs!
