We are very pleased to announce that the Certificate Courses are approved by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) for Category 1 CMEs. ECG Academy Level 1+2 program is now approved for up to 28 hours of continuing education. AAPA reference number: CME-2012793. This course will be invaluable to any PA working in the cardiac field, in an Emergency Department, cardiac cath lab, or CCU/ICU.
By incorporating ECG Academy's unique video tutorials into an educational framework, we are now able to track each participant's progress. The Sections in the Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) and Level 2 (12-lead Interpretation) courses each have 3-5 videos, each 5-15 minutes long, that cover a particular topic. The videos are followed by "Practice Questions" to ensure that you understand the material. At the end of each section there is a short quiz to reinforce the information and to measure your proficiency. There is also a collection of "Essential ChalkTalks" in each level, to help you practice analyzing unknown tracings. At the end of each Level of the course there is a major exam. Completion of the entire program qualifies the participant to receive a "Certificate of Completion," with CMEs as noted above. When you enroll in a Certificate Course, you'll also have access to a library of ECG Academy's ChalkTalks, which are invaluable to help you tackle more difficult tracings. To purchase the course, click the button below and choose the Level 1 or the Level 1+2 Certificate Course. Please note: It generally takes up to 24 hours to get you enrolled and send you instructions via email.
I just finished all the basic lectures and am very happy with them. They are very professional, easy to understand, and fact-filled. I absolutely can't wait to get through the advanced topics!
I just wanted to drop a quick note to tell you that for ages I have been looking for lessons like yours. I’m telling my PA instructor to suggest your website to his future students (and past..)!
